San Diego California Attractions
San Diego has some really beautiful beaches, and no trip to San Diego would be complete without visiting them. There are so many amazing things to do, so we've decided to pick some of our favorites to make your vacation planning even easier. Here's where to go when visiting sunny SanDiego: La JollaMost of San Diego's beaches are open, but if you live in LaJolla Shores, you have the opportunity to start with an exciting hike down to the beach.
The monument also offers a great view of the peninsula that forms the western side of our bay, opposite the city center. Here you can see the San Diego Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the city skyline, as well as the ocean and the seafront promenade.
Other attractions and activities in San Diego include a harbor cruise or a visit to the Cabrillo National Monument. Some of the famous attractions that are located in Balboa Park are: the beach, the amphitheater and the park itself, to name just a few. There are 16 of them, including the National Park Service's National Historic Landmarks and National Parks and California State Parks.
If that's not enough, you can visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo right in Balboa Park, where you can see a wide variety of animals including lions, tigers, elephants, rhinos, bears and other animals. The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park is a well-known sister company of Balboa Park in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 1,200-hectare park includes numerous attractions, including a sunken butterfly garden, a water park, an aquarium and a wildlife park.

If you are in San Diego for two days and you are in a good place downtown, you should explore Balboa Park. Even if you only have a few hours, you will definitely enjoy the city's most popular attractions such as the San Francisco Bay Bridge and Mission Bay Area. Parks, museums, hotels, restaurants and other attractions in and around the Bay Area should be on your list of activities in New York City, Los Angeles or New Jersey.
The Aquarium in La Jolla offers families on a budget or limited time an alternative to SeaWorld San Diego. For a two-day tour like the one above, see Day 1 and drive over the Coronado Bridge at noon to visit the San Francisco Bay Bridge and Mission Bay Area. Visit the attractions that connect downtown San Diego with Coronado Island and the city of San Jose and the rest of California.
It may not be as big as San Diego, but there are plenty of fun things to do in the city of San Jose and the rest of the Bay Area.
