The 20th annual Del Mar Village Summer Solstice at Powerhouse Park, Thursday June 18 from 5–8 PM. Unlimited tastings from 15+ restaurants, craft cocktails, live music. 21+.
The Del Mar Village Summer Solstice returns to Powerhouse Park on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM — a 20th anniversary edition of one of San Diego's most beloved summer kickoff events. Powerhouse Park sits directly on the Pacific in the heart of Del Mar Village, and on Solstice night, it transforms into an open-air culinary playground featuring elevated bites from 15+ Del Mar Village restaurants, craft cocktails, wine, beer, and live music — all just steps from the ocean.
This is the only event of its kind in San Diego, and it sells out every year.
It's a one-night-only event where the food, drinks, music, and setting are all happening simultaneously, steps from the sand.
The restaurant lineup reads like a who's who of Del Mar Village dining, including:

A few things make this event different from other summer food festivals:
1. It's actually on the beach. Powerhouse Park sits directly above the Del Mar shoreline. The sunset, the breeze, the ocean — none of that is decoration. It's the whole experience.
2. It's exclusive. Only ~500–800 tickets are sold, and it sells out every single year. The price keeps the crowd manageable, which means shorter lines, more chef time, and a more curated evening.
3. It supports local businesses. Net proceeds benefit the Del Mar Village Association, which advocates for and supports Del Mar's small businesses. Your ticket genuinely helps keep the neighborhood thriving.
4. It's the 20th anniversary. This year's edition celebrates two decades of Summer Solstice — expect special programming, anniversary touches, and a bigger lineup than usual.
Coming from out of town? Del Mar Village sits just north of La Jolla and 20–25 minutes from downtown San Diego.
