Free World Cup watch parties at Fit Social Mission Beach this weekend. 8 group-stage matches, Brazil vs Morocco Saturday, Germany vs Curaçao Sunday brunch. All-ages, outdoor.
Fit Social at Belmont Park is the official San Diego FC and Fox 5 World Cup headquarters — and this weekend brings eight group-stage matches to its massive outdoor screens on the Mission Beach boardwalk. All free, all-ages, all outdoor, with surfside views, stadium-style seating, and the kind of global crowd that only the World Cup brings together.
If you've ever wanted to watch Brazil score a goal with the Pacific Ocean ten steps behind you, this is the weekend to make it happen.
Four matches stretched across the day — all kicking off at convenient Pacific Time slots:
Headliner of the day: Brazil vs. Morocco at 3 PM — expect a packed crowd of Brazilian fans in yellow and green, with surfside Mission Beach energy layered on top. Switzerland's match at noon will also draw a major crowd — Switzerland chose San Diego as their official 2026 World Cup basecamp, making this one of the loudest Swiss-supporter watch parties in the country.
Four more matches across the day — starting with a 10 AM brunch-friendly kickoff:
Headliner of the day: Netherlands vs. Japan at 1 PM — two of the most passionate global fanbases will pack Fit Social for what's expected to be a tactical, technical match. Germany vs. Curaçao at 10 AM is a great early Sunday brunch crowd kickoff.
A few things make Fit Social uniquely suited for the World Cup:
1. The location is unbeatable. Right on the Mission Beach boardwalk, next to Belmont Park's amusement attractions. You can watch a match, step onto the beach between halves, and come back without losing your spot.
2. The setup handles crowds. Stadium-style outdoor seating and a massive outdoor hangout area mean Fit Social can handle the kind of crowds that overwhelm typical sports bars — especially when Brazil, Mexico, or USA play.
3. SDFC official partnership. This isn't just a bar showing the games — San Diego FC has made Fit Social its official World Cup hub for the entire tournament. Expect SDFC player appearances, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise drops throughout the weekend.
4. Free, all-ages, free entry. Group-stage matches are completely free. Knockout rounds (starting June 28) will fill up faster, but this weekend is all group-stage games — meaning you can show up and walk in.
5. Game-day food and drink specials. Belmont Park has multiple restaurants and food stands nearby, plus on-site bar service for Fit Social specifically. You won't go hungry.
Saturday, June 13 & Sunday, June 14, 2026
Location: Fit Social at Belmont Park — 3125 Ocean Front Walk, Mission Beach, San Diego, CA 92109
The venue sits directly on the boardwalk with views of both the screens and the Pacific. Belmont Park's classic SoCal oceanfront amusement park (with its iconic Giant Dipper roller coaster) is right next door — making it easy to extend the day with kids or non-soccer-fans in the group.
Mission Beach parking is a nightmare on weekends, and World Cup Saturday will be no exception.
