The short version
The village center and the roads beyond it need separate visits.
Fallbrook is an unincorporated North County community whose downtown is organized around Main Avenue. County planning work for the village focuses on its gateways, sidewalks, intersections, and relationship to surrounding streets. Begin there to understand the center, then explore the roads serving the exact area where you might live.
Live Oak County Park, on Reche Road, gives the wider community a different kind of public place. Its oak canopy, picnic areas, sports facilities, and amphitheater make it a substantial outing beyond the village. The park is its own destination; living in Fallbrook does not automatically mean being able to walk there.
For a home search, compare the village trip with the route to the park and your regular destinations outside the community. A property reached by a longer local-road approach may function differently from one near Main Avenue. Use the county's current planning information and test the actual road connections instead of translating a broad rural setting into assumptions about convenience.
