Join FREEDOM SWEAT on July 3 — a free 250-rep HIIT class at Fitness Quest 10 in Pacific Beach, plus first access to the new Nine Ball Racing drop. RSVP early.
If your Fourth of July weekend plan is mostly beer and BBQ, here's a way to earn it. On Friday, July 3rd, Nine Ball Athletics is teaming up with Fitness Quest 10 in Pacific Beach for FREEDOM SWEAT — a free, full-body HIIT class built around one patriotic number: 250 reps for America's 250th birthday.
It's a one-day pop-up, it's free, and spots are first come, first served. The catch is that the RSVP link closes the second the class hits capacity, so this is one to lock in early.
FREEDOM SWEAT is a pre-weekend, full-body hybrid-athlete HIIT class programmed specifically around the 250-rep theme — the coaches are calling it a workout designed to make you "sweat red, white & blue." Fitness Quest 10's team is leading the session, so you're in the hands of one of San Diego's longest-running training studios.
A few things worth knowing before you show up:
Friday, July 3rd
Get there for check-in, not the start time — with a capped, first-come crowd, you don't want to be the person jogging up at 2:59.
Fitness Quest 10
877 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109 (Pacific Beach)
Right in the heart of Garnet, so you can roll straight into PB happy hour afterward — which, honestly, feels like the intended kickoff-to-the-weekend move here.
Registration is through the official sign-up form, and it only asks for your name, email, and Instagram handle. Once class is at max capacity, the link closes — so if it's still open when you go to sign up, there's room for you.
This event is hosted by Nine Ball Athletics (@nineballathletics) and Fitness Quest 10 (@fitnessquest10pb), with partners Pnky's (@drinkpnkys) and Amazfit (@amazfit.us).
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The class is completely free — you just need to register in advance and grab a spot before it fills.
Do I need to be in great shape to do this?
It's a hybrid-athlete HIIT class, so it's designed to challenge you, but HIIT formats are typically scalable. If you're newer to it, get there at check-in, introduce yourself to the coaches, and let them know — modifying reps is normal.
What should I bring?
Standard sweat-session gear: training shoes, water, and a towel. Since it's a 3:00 PM class on a hot summer afternoon, hydrate beforehand.
Will there be photos of me?
Yes — the class will be photographed, so heads up if you'd rather not be in recap content.
Can I just show up without registering?
It's first come, first served with a capped headcount, and the link closes once it's full. Registering ahead is the only way to be sure you're in.
What's the Nine Ball Racing collection?
It's Nine Ball Athletics' newest drop, and this class is the first place to get your hands on it in person — including the new racing hat.
