Overview
Pacific Beachfest returns to the oceanfront boardwalk for San Diego’s premier beach town festival. Stretching along the Pacific Beach boardwalk from Felspar Street to Thomas Street, this free, full-day community event brings together live music, local artisans, action sports, food vendors, and family activities right next to the sand.
The festival features three stages of live music and local DJs, a beach volleyball tournament, a 5K beach run, a dedicated Kids Action Zone, and a beer garden for attendees 21 and over.

Event Highlights & Stages
- Main Stage (Hornblend St): Live sets throughout the day featuring DJ Betty Bangs, Paging the 90s, Rock of 4EGS, Fishin' for Chips, and headliners The Sleepwalkers starting at 5:30 p.m.
- Grand Ave Stage: Outdoor DJ lineup including DJ Tony A, DJ Betty Bangs, and DJ Brian Rose spinning beach vibes all day.
- Community Stage (Felspar St): Showcasing local performers, including Tap Fever Studios, Crown Point Jr Music Academy, Old School Skaters, PBMS Concert Orchestra & Jazz Band, Thriller San Diego, and Shoreline Blues.
- Beach Activities: Beach volleyball tournaments, the Pacific Beachfest 5K, craft vendor booths, and a dedicated Kids Action Zone.
Good to Know
- Arrive Early for Parking: Street parking in Pacific Beach fills up very quickly on festival days—consider biking, taking rideshare, or using the MTS Bus Line 8 or Line 27.
- Walkable & Pet Friendly: The festival stretches along the paved boardwalk, making it easy to stroll with strollers or leashed dogs.
- Beer Garden (21+): Valid physical photo ID is required for entry into the beachside beer garden areas.
