Open Air Yoga at San Diego Botanic Garden: Every Saturday
A one-hour outdoor yoga class in the Encinitas botanical gardens every Saturday from 9–10 AM. Class fee includes full-day Garden admission. From $17.
Event Overview
San Diego Botanic Garden hosts Open Air Yoga on Saturday, June 6, 2026 — a one-hour outdoor yoga class set among 37 acres of botanical gardens in Encinitas. Breathe in fresh air, immerse yourself in the sights, smells, and sounds of nature, and leave restored and rejuvenated after gently moving your body.
It's not a free DJ-fueled fitness event — it's a meditative, low-key flow surrounded by the largest public bamboo collection in North America. The class fee includes daytime Garden admission, so the smart move is to stick around and explore the gardens after savasana.
What's Included
- One-hour outdoor yoga class in the gardens
- Daytime Garden admission included with class fee — explore all 37 acres after class
- Access to 15 themed garden regions, 12 demonstration gardens, and the largest public bamboo collection in North America
What to Bring
- Your own yoga mat (required)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, and/or a hat (the class is outdoors with limited shade)

- Layers — June mornings in Encinitas can start cool with the marine layer
